When it comes to costuming, the type of costume you wear in your belly dancing all depend on the style that best suites your body type. After all you want to feel like a true Diva when you wear your costume and not self conscious.
You would like to look professional when you perform and I strongly feel that you are representing a dance of the Middle East and therefore should not wear all the wonderful costumes which you find in a local Chinese clothing store.
These outfits are cheap but unfortunately they look cheap when worn.
