Our program is a one of a kind educational experience that will introduce you (even children from the age of 3) to the fascinating world of reptiles. We also offer the opportunity to hold and interact with our docile animals.
Our goal is to not only educate people about the fascinating world of reptiles, but to help diminish any fear and misconceptions about our cold blooded friends, while having fun at the same time.
We have discovered that kids and adults who are uncertain and uneasy about reptiles often have abrupt change in their attitudes as a result of a single experience with us. If you have experienced a program by CBGES we are confident that you have enjoyed the balance between education and fun.
Not only are we here to shed the fears people have about reptiles, we are also asking for your help with regards to understanding the need for conservation of our wildlife that are becoming endangered and understand the need for breeding programs to help repopulate animals back into the environment. |

With your help and allowing us to educate you in a fun and spirit building manner, this will allow CBGES to formalize and get all the permits necessary in opening up a snake park with South Africa’s most endangered reptiles as well as be able to start breeding programs to re-introduce species back into the wild.
Children are our best customers. They love our animals. Over and over again, we hear that they will remember this for the rest of their lives so why not offer them the opportunity to experience something out of this world and allow CBGES to educate them on reptiles they will fall in love with.
Our programs typically follow the format below, however, we can tailor your program to meet your needs.
- Introduction
- True and False Questions
- Talks & Stories – On our personal experiences and real life stories.
- Introduction of each animal - this would be on various reptiles and would include but not limited to reptiles such as:
- Burmese pythons
- Boas
- Caimens
- Monitors
- Lizards
- Geckos
- And other…
- Activity – a small activity based on a quiz on understanding animals on what we have spoken about (optional)
- Any Questions section
- Request – A small request that after we presented our educational talk to you, that you provide CBGES a letter to help us achieve our goal of
- Formalizing our permits to open our reptile snake park
- To be able to start breeding projects to see South Africa’s endangered wildlife re-populated back into the environment.
- Small Hands on Experience Section
- We will leave with leaving you with a certificate of the CBGES Wildlife Protectors Certificate so that everyone may know that you care for our endangered wildlife and have contributed to the efforts to help making South Africa’s environment a better place.
